Joule Acapella Evacuated Tube Solar Collector System

How they work
The Joule Acapella evacuated is one of the most efficient tubes on the Irish market. Proven performance by independent European test centre.
Manufactured with a rigid aluminium frame for better support and durability.
The glass tubes are manufactured from high-quality borosilicate glass 33 for higher performance.
The tubes have an internal vacuum of 5 bar for better insulation.
The glass tubes come complete with a unique leak detection device, barium layer, for prolonged performance.
The tubes are tested to withstand hail of 25mm in diameter and in house tests indicate that they can withstand considerably more force.
Because our tube does not rely on the connection of metal to glass they have the ability to
maintain their vacuum longer than others.

Warranty
10 years when registered online@www.joulesolar.com

Advantages
Outstanding year long performance Easy to install
Low maintenance: dirt cannot stick to tube Easy to change tubes
Tubes can be romoved as system operates Competitive solution

Maintenance

Due to the shape of the collector surface rain carries out your maintenance for you.
Ensure the tubes remain clean and in working order.
Also check the pressure gauge on the solar pump station to ensure it is reading the correct pressure as stated in your operating manual which your installer will have given you after installation.
If the system has been sized correctly the solar fluid in your system should last three years after which it will need to be drained down and replaced by a suitable qualified person.

Navitas On Roof Solar Collector System.

How they work

Joule Navitas on roof solar panel is one of the most efficient on roof solar panels on the
market.
The frame is made of double-walled, powder-coated aluminium sections.
It benefits from superior construction using the latest technology in laser and robotic welding.
It uses a unique ventilation system in the panel that allows for necessary air circulation while reducing heat loss and increasing performance.
To add to this our panel is not only insulated on the back by 50mm of dense wool insulation but also by a further 20mm of side wall insulation.
The glass is toughened to withstand hail.
The plate that transfers the energy from the sun to the fluid in the system is called the absorber. This is very important. Our absorber is manufactured from copper and is covered by a highly selective coating.
